Ko'vrn
"A rotted old man ontop a three headed werewolf looking horse; the two are fused together." He rides ahead of the ash winters and is blamed for them wrongly. The Crimson is none of his, and he simply likes the weather.
The liking is practical, which is the whole of the point of him.
Country
An ash sky is a thick sky, and under a falling ash winter a Remoulded can cross open ground at a fraction of the usual cost. In ordinary daylight the Caelyrean strains this material faster than it can hold and a traveller loses mass by the hour, and since mass is rank, a Keeper that travels badly comes home outranked. That is why the dens keep to the tunnels.
Ko'vrn is the only member of this class with a reliable overland route, and he has it because he waits for the sky to change.
Society
He carries messages that are not the Messenger's, for a price, between dens that are not speaking to each other. Brigi'Tekth carries the summons of the Thirteenth Estate and nothing else, and carries nothing back; Ko'vrn carries everything the court would rather not have minuted.
He takes payment. Nothing in the record says what he takes, and nothing says he has ever refused a message.
Regard
The ash winters are laid at his door in every district he rides through, and the record is flat that they are not his. He arrives ahead of them because he can read the weather, and a rider seen on the road before the sky falls is the easiest sort of cause for a village to settle on.
