Drainijod
The mortal materialization of Drenolor, and no summoner's work: Drenolor put a piece of himself into a shape that walks among people and does not frighten them, and that shape is Drainijod. He is the only Remoulded who passes.
He is met as a traveller, a physician, an interpreter of dreams, a kind man at a bedside, and the epithet is exact. What he offers is a dream and the dream is false.
Body
Because he was placed rather than pulled, the filter has no quarrel with him. He does not rot, he does not thin in daylight, and he can stand in a market at noon for as long as he likes.
That is precisely the capability the whole Coven lacks. A Keeper crossing sixty miles of daylit farmland arrives smaller than it left, and mass is rank, which is why the hundred dens are joined by ancient tunnels and why the court's chamber is deep. Drainijod simply walks.
Society
He is the Coven's most useful ally and their most resented one, because he does above ground what the whole court cannot, and he does not report to the Queen.
Where a cult forms without a summoning, Drainijod was there first. The ordinary order of things is that a cult summons and pays in souls and a den grows around the result; his order runs the other way, and it costs the Coven nothing and gives it nothing it can direct.
Regard
He has been seen at two of the mills that Ossuweth visited, before it came. Nothing in the record explains what he was doing there, and the two facts have never been set beside each other by anyone in the world who could act on them.
Drenolor's pieces are scattered through this tier: Ossuweth and Kessivar are Shattered fragments of the same Prince. Drainijod is the only one that was put here on purpose.
