Ie'ishen
"The oldest and eldest of remoulded terrors, an ever moving husked giant in the cave realms, holding infinite knowledge of both ends and beginnings." He does not stop walking, and the cave realms are large enough that he has never had to.
He holds no office and attends no court, which in a class organised entirely around rank makes him the one member whose standing cannot be argued with because it is not being claimed.
Body
The walking is understood by the Coven to be practical. A mass that size holds better in motion under stone than standing still anywhere, and Ie'ishen worked that out long before there was a court to tell. The filter grinds continuously at anything made of this substance, and the deeper the stone and the thinner the Caelyrean, the slower the grinding, so a giant that keeps to the cave realms and keeps moving is a giant that is losing less than it otherwise would.
Husked is the ordinary state of the class. The rot is not decay and does not finish, and height in this class varies without limit, since size is only a record of how much of itself a fragment has recovered.
Regard
What he knows he will tell to anyone who can keep pace with him, which is the whole of the difficulty. Nothing in the record says that anyone has managed it for long enough to write anything down.
Since he holds no den, takes no domain and answers no summons, he stands outside the only arithmetic this class has. The Coven does not appear to have decided whether he is an elder or an obstacle.
