Krath-of-the-Third-Arm
A raider and a survivor of a cull, and it knows it is a survivor because it remembers the Alverians. Nine feet, heavy, and the third arm is a rope of muscle with no bone in it that it uses for nothing except holding, which it does with a strength that has ended arguments.
It has not mended itself and will not, and it says the fault is the record of who made it.
Body
Having no bone, the arm is the one part of Krath that has never hurt. It is also the part that will kill it, since a boneless limb rooted in the sternum pulls the ribs in a little further every decade. The rest of the body carries what every body in this class carries: joints loaded off their axis, a frame deepening its own deformity every year it lives, and no rest at any hour.
Country
Krath leads a band of forty mixed things across the ravine edges and takes livestock, tools and occasionally people. The border lords describe this as savagery. It is foraging, in a country whose food the Alverians removed: the Vashek Drove fed every predatory lineage in the region and was culled deliberately in order to starve the ravines, and bands like Krath's are what a class of extremely fertile predators does when its prey base is taken away. Every raid on the ravine edges runs back to that one decision.
Regard
The refusal is the whole of what other creatures know about Krath. An intelligent Abomination that has mended itself stops being irritable, is safe from the bone trade, and is generally left alone. Krath has chosen otherwise and has said why: the fault is the record of who made it, and it does not intend to cut that record out of itself.
It is old enough to remember the Alverians directly, which almost nothing in the ravine country is, and the band follows something that was there.
