Ilvoreth
Tall, thin, and permanently tilted, with a head that sits on the spine at an angle nothing can correct, which it has stopped trying to correct and now regards as a mark. The tilt traps a nerve at the base of the skull, so half of Ilvoreth's face has been numb for a century and its voice comes out of one side of its mouth.
It is the nearest thing this class has to a clergy, and it is one creature.
Faith
Ilvoreth is in pain and has turned the pain into doctrine. It has gathered a following of perhaps sixty malformed things in a forest gorge and preaches the grievance rite, which is the only faith this class has: the setting out of the bones that were wrong, and the naming of the fault aloud. Nothing is asked for, because nothing would be given. Aezithis is a god in stone and holds no realm, and the souls of Abominations go to the auction of the star gods along with everyone else's.
The rite is properly performed with the priest's own bones, kept from its own mendings, which makes it a thing only a mended creature can perform. Ilvoreth has never mended anything and has kept none of its own. It performs the rite with the bones of others.
Frailty
The trapped nerve is the fault that most often starts an intelligent Abomination cutting, and Ilvoreth is the one that did not. A nerve caught in a channel that does not match its bone stops serving what it serves, sooner or later, and half a face has been numb for a hundred years as a result. The tilt that traps it cannot be corrected, and the creature has built its whole standing on not correcting it.
Regard
A village nearby pays it tribute and cannot say why that started. Nobody in the arrangement has written anything down, the footpath down to the gorge is kept clear, and the sixty in the gorge are fed better than anything else of their kind in the world.
